Roger Largent
Roger Largent, 69, was found dead in his cell at Western Correctional Institution, a state prison in Maryland, on February 11, 2017. The Maryland State Police and the state medical examiner's office said he died of blunt force trauma to the head and ruled the death a homicide. Authorities were reported to be considering his cellmate as a suspect, though no charges had been filed when the reports were published. His family and lawyers had been pursuing his case, and days before his death an appeals court set aside the verdict in it, with his lawyer saying he had been denied a fair trial.
