Rodney Robinson
Rodney Robinson, a 60-year-old Black man, died on February 12, 2025, at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections downtown jail, where he had been held for about a day. He was found unresponsive in his cell, and he was pronounced dead at 11:32 p.m. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office has not stated a manner of death and says an autopsy is pending. The Louisville Metro Police Public Integrity Unit and the corrections Professional Standards Unit are investigating his death.
