Rodney Puente
Rodney Puente, 52, of The Colony, died on October 18, 2020, after being hospitalized for 26 days while held at the Denton County Jail in Texas. Denton County Public Health confirmed he died of COVID-19. A sheriff's office official said his understanding was that he went into cardiac arrest and that hospital staff could not resuscitate him. The Texas Rangers were investigating his death.
