Rodney Lynn McKenzie
Rodney Lynn McKenzie, 47, of Frankston, Texas, died on October 7, 2023, while held at the Anderson County Jail. According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Office, other people held at the jail alerted staff that he appeared to be in medical distress. Staff found him not alert and unresponsive, and he was taken to Palestine Regional Medical Center, where he died in the emergency room. The Texas Rangers are investigating his death, and no cause or manner has been officially stated.
