Roderick Nunley
Roderick Nunley was executed by lethal injection at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center in Bonne Terre, Missouri, on the evening of September 1, 2015, and was pronounced dead at 9:09 p.m. He had been held on death row in Missouri for many years. His attorneys filed a last-minute petition with the United States Supreme Court, which delayed the execution by about three hours. The Governor denied clemency, and the petition and stay request were then denied, allowing the execution to proceed.
