Rocco Carbonaro
Rocco Carbonaro, 44, was held at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Department of Prisons said he was assaulted by his cellmate in the early hours of November 30, 2023, and he was pronounced dead at 4:35 a.m. Police said the cellmate was in custody and the investigation was ongoing, and investigators told Action News that no weapon was recovered. As of the reports, no motive had been released and no one had been charged.
