Robert Wayne Parker
Robert Wayne Parker, 48, was held at the Bexar County Jail in San Antonio when he was attacked in his cell in early June 2025. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said he was critically injured in an assault by another person held there, and he was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center. His family later chose to have him removed from life support. The sheriff's office is conducting an internal investigation, and the Texas Rangers are investigating the attack as a criminal matter.
