Robert Wayne Holsey
Robert Wayne Holsey was executed by lethal injection on December 9, 2014, at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, Georgia, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections. Before the injection, he looked up at his sister Regina and told her he loved her several times, and he asked that someone take care of his mother. A WGXA reporter who witnessed the execution said he also expressed sorrow to the family of a sheriff's deputy and asked for peace for his own family.
