Robert Wallace, 35, was held at the South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri. The Missouri Department of Corrections said he was pronounced dead early on Saturday, December 28, 2024, and that an autopsy would be conducted. The department has not given a cause of death, and the manner is listed as pending. A later report said he was the 19th person to die at the facility that year.
