Robert Tunstall
Robert Tunstall, 64, was held at Salinas Valley State Prison in Soledad, California. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said he died on October 5, 2022, after another person attacked him on a recreation yard, and that he was pronounced dead at 9:21 a.m. The department is investigating the death as a homicide, and the Monterey County Coroner will determine the official cause of death. The Los Angeles Times reported that officials recovered a weapon made inside the prison and identified another man involved in the attack.
