Robert Shelton
Robert Shelton, 60, died on November 13, 2023, after a medical emergency while held at the Harris County Jail in Texas. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, he had been hospitalized for a preexisting medical condition and had no apparent physical injuries. Public Media reported that he was taken to hospitals for low blood pressure and low oxygen levels and was put on a ventilator before he was pronounced dead. The Texas Rangers and the sheriff's office are investigating, and the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is conducting the autopsy to determine the cause of death.
