Robert Robinson
Robert Robinson, 41, died on September 7, 2022, less than a day after he was taken to the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, California. A coroner's report, as cited by Black Voice News, says he hanged himself, and that a video shows this shortly after an hourly cell check, before deputies found his body more than an hour later. A federal lawsuit filed by his relatives, through attorney Dale Galipo, says he told jailers he was suicidal, was not placed on suicide watch, and that deputies did not use life-saving equipment.
