Robert Ridinger
Robert Ridinger died on March 12, 2022, while held at the Albany County Detention Center in Wyoming. A federal evidentiary affidavit and federal prosecutors allege that fentanyl smuggled into the jail caused his death. The affidavit places him in a pod he shared with other people held there, the day after another man was brought into that pod. The sheriff's office did not publicly mention his death until October 2022.
