Robert Rettman
Robert Rettman, 46, died in the Orleans Justice Center in New Orleans. Sources say he was found unresponsive in his cell around 10:15 a.m. and taken to University Medical Center, where he died. The Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office said the cause of death is under investigation, with autopsy and toxicology tests planned, and that force or foul play had been ruled out. One earlier account says that on the day he died he asked a deputy to let him take a shower and for more information about his court date.
