Robert L. Whitney Jr.
Robert L. Whitney Jr., 52, died in his cell at the Ouachita River Correctional Unit in Malvern, Arkansas, a state prison. The Arkansas Department of Correction says a cellmate alerted staff on a Thursday morning that he appeared to be in distress, and officers and medical staff found him unresponsive and pronounced him dead. The Arkansas State Police and the Department of Correction are investigating, and the department has not stated a cause or manner of death.
