Robert Kenneth Hammond
Robert Kenneth Hammond died on January 14, 2026, at the age of 81. The Iowa Department of Corrections said he was pronounced dead in a hospice room at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Coralville. He had been in state custody since 1963, according to the department. The department has not given a cause or manner of death.
