Robert Hardy
Robert Hardy, 64, was held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center in Marietta, Georgia, when deputies found him in cardiac arrest in his cell on July 25, 2026. The sheriff's office said he was taken to Kennestone hospital, where he was placed on a ventilator, and that his family chose to end his care; he died there on July 26. The sheriff's office said the cause was cardiac arrest and that it is conducting an internal review.
