Robert Forrest, 72, died at the Maine State Prison in Warren early on the morning of February 28, 2018, according to a statement from the Maine Department of Corrections. The department said the Maine State Police and the state medical examiner's office were notified under its policy. Officials had not yet said what caused his death or how it occurred.
