Robert Earl Robinson
Robert Earl Robinson died on July 19, 2018, while held at the Michael Unit, a Texas Department of Criminal Justice prison in Anderson County. He was 54, according to a state report, and was found unresponsive by security staff before being taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A Texas in-custody death report listed environmental hyperthermia as the cause of death, but the prison system said that report was preliminary and that his housing area was air conditioned. The amended medical examiner report was not yet final when the reporting was published.
