Robert Dwayne Moniger, 57, was held at San Diego Central Jail when he died on November 27, 2021. He complained of pain and said he felt unwell after breakfast was served early that Saturday morning, and according to San Diego police he became unresponsive within minutes. Police said they found no evidence of foul play, and an autopsy was scheduled. The cause and manner of his death were still pending when the report was published.
