Robert Dale Richards
Robert Dale Richards, 50, was held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center in Oklahoma City. Staff found him unresponsive in his cell around 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, while medications were being distributed, and he was taken to a hospital where he died early the next morning. The jail said its Special Investigations Unit would look into the death. The Oklahoma medical examiner ruled the death natural, citing cardiovascular disease, and also found cirrhosis.
