Robert Cornelious Powell
Robert Cornelious Powell, 32, of Brooklyn, New York, died in February 2024 after an encounter with police in Cumming, Georgia. Officers found an injury on his leg while handcuffing him, and he told them he was having difficulty breathing. EMS took him to a local hospital, where he became unresponsive and was pronounced dead. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death, and an autopsy is pending.
