Robert Bruce Hunter, 48, of Mesa, had worked as a detention officer for the Pinal County Sheriff's Office for about 10 years, according to FOX 10 Phoenix. He was found dead inside his cell at the Lower Buckeye jail, where he was held, and officials reported that the sheriff's office had placed him on administrative leave.
