Robert Blanchette, 44, died on April 15, 2024, at Lansing Correctional Facility in Lansing, Kansas, where he was held in the custody of the Kansas Department of Corrections. The department said the cause of death is pending an independent autopsy. The Kansas Department of Corrections and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating his death.
