Robert Berrier White

Robert Berrier White was held in the jail at Lexington, North Carolina, in October 1889. According to a wire dispatch from Columbia dated October 17, 1889, a mob took him from the jail and lynched him. The dispatch does not say whether the jailer or sheriff resisted, gave up the keys, or handed him over.
