Robert Bashara
Robert Bashara, 62, was a former Rotary Club president in suburban Detroit, according to news reports. He was held in the Michigan prison system and last housed at Woodland Center Correctional Facility in Whitmore Lake, and he died at a hospital on August 17, 2020. The state Corrections Department announced the death and said he was last housed at Woodland Center, but its spokesman declined to give details of how he died. The Livingston County Medical Examiners Office received his body, and officials had not confirmed how he died or whether he was ill.
