Robert Anthony Wright
Robert Anthony Wright, 29, was a Columbus native and father of six who lived in the Chillicothe area in recent years. He died on July 7, 2016, while held at Lebanon Correctional Center in Ohio. A wrongful death lawsuit filed by his widow, Stefanie Wright, and his brother, Chris Sutton Jr., in the Ohio Court of Claims says he complained of severe stomach pain for nearly two weeks, was given only antacids, and was discharged from the infirmary shortly before he was found unresponsive in his cell. The lawsuit attributes his death to a perforated stomach ulcer, and his family is seeking damages for their loss. The state prison system has said it does not comment on pending litigation.
