Ricky Martin
Ricky Martin, 58, died in August 2018 while held at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl, Mississippi. According to a WAPT report, he complained that he could not breathe and was taken to a Rankin County hospital, where he died several hours later. Mississippi Department of Corrections officials and Coroner David Ruth have not stated how he died, and the coroner was awaiting autopsy results. A Sun Herald report listing the state's August 2018 prison deaths gives no cause or manner.
