Richard Rosier
Richard Rosier, 38, died on March 5, 2019, after he was held at the Oakdale City Jail in Oakdale, Louisiana. According to Allen Parish Sheriff Doug Hebert, Rosier had an episode in his cell, and officers tried to subdue him before an ambulance was called. He was declared brain-dead at a hospital, where initial toxicology showed drugs in his system. The sheriff's office said its detectives are investigating how the incident was handled, and an autopsy has been requested; the manner of death is still pending.
