Richard Dickson
Richard Dickson, also spelled Dickeron, was a Black man held in the jail in Springfield, Ohio. According to the Starkville News, a mob took him from the jail, shot him and hanged him. The newspaper reported the killing as a lynching from custody in March 1904.
Cause of death, as reported: Taken from custody and lynched. The Starkville News reported that an infuriated mob shot and hanged him after taking him from the jail in Springfield, Ohio.
