Richard Berger, 70, of Brunswick, died on April 21, 2020, while held at Marion Correctional Institution in Marion, Ohio. He had been admitted to a hospital with COVID-19 on April 15. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, through a spokesperson, confirmed the death by email and attributed it to COVID-19.
