Rhonda Tucker Idlett
Rhonda Tucker Idlett, 61, of Bowie, died in August 2026 after being held at the Wise County Jail. The Wise County Sheriff's Office reported to the Texas Attorney General's Office that she was unresponsive in her cell on the afternoon of Aug. 27, 2026, and she died the following day at Medical City Decatur. The sheriff's office has not stated a cause or manner of death, and autopsy and toxicology results were still pending when the article was published. The sheriff's office and the Texas Rangers are investigating her death.
