Rhonda Lee McKelvy
Rhonda Lee McKelvy, 46, died on July 3, 2023, at the Kitsap County Jail in Port Orchard, hours before her scheduled release. The Kitsap Daily News reported that she had complained of feeling unwell and of hip pain the night before. Officers found her the next morning, and she was pronounced dead. The Kitsap County medical examiner's office attributed her death to a subarachnoid hemorrhage from a ruptured brain aneurysm, and its autopsy found no injury to her skull.
