Rebecca Jaramillo
Rebecca Jaramillo, 33, was held at the Santa Fe County jail in January 2021 when she was struck and killed by a Santa Fe County sheriff's office vehicle on N.M. 14, near the jail, while walking north. State police described the death as an accident. The sheriff's office conducted an internal review of the crash but has not made its findings public.
Cause of death, as reported: Died in an accident. New Mexico State Police attributed the crash to pedestrian error.
