Raymond M. Scharick, 73, died on the morning of November 14, 2023, while held at Two Rivers Correctional Institution in Umatilla, Oregon, a state prison run by the Oregon Department of Corrections. The Department of Corrections reported his death, and the state medical examiner had not determined a cause as of the initial report. Oregon State Police were notified of the death.
