Raymond Edward Steele, 67, was held at San Quentin State Prison in California. He died there on the night of Wednesday, April 22, 2015, and was pronounced dead at 7:37 p.m. According to a KRCR report, he was found unresponsive in his cell. The cause of death had not been determined and was pending an autopsy.
