Raymond C. Chadwick
Raymond C. Chadwick, 41, died on April 14, 2025, at the Cecil County Detention Center in Elkton, Maryland. His fiancee, Kelly Corriden, organized a candlelight vigil for him outside the detention center, which about 70 people attended. The Cecil County Sheriff's Office said he went into cardiac arrest in the jail's medical unit after being returned from a hospital visit on April 13 and being moved there after refusing medication. The sheriff's office said no foul play is suspected, and the autopsy by the Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner was still pending.
