Died in prison
Ray Edward Supanick
Ray Supanick had been receiving dialysis, and according to WTAE he had been moved from the Somerset County jail to SCI-Laurel Highlands, a state prison, because the jail could not meet his medical needs. Somerset County prosecutors told WTAE that he died there on Saturday, August 22, 2020. The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections reported the death to the state's Commission on Crime and Delinquency, which lists the manner of death as natural. The news report gave no cause of death.
