Rashonn Wilson
Rashonn Wilson, 31, was a family man whom relatives remember as everybody's big brother and big cousin, the father of a son and the brother of Keeshawna Jacobs. He had been held in Suffolk County custody since March 2021, pretrial. The Suffolk County Sheriff's Department said he fell ill, was taken to a hospital and died under doctors' care on July 12, 2021, and the department has described the death only in general terms. His family wants to know what caused his death and believes it could have been prevented.
