Died in jail or a lockup
Rashah Williams
Rashah Andre Williams, 39, of Tyler, died in October 2025 after a medical emergency that KLTV reports happened while he was being booked into the Smith County Jail. CBS19 reports that he was brought to the jail on September 24. He died a week later at a hospital, and an autopsy was performed with results pending. The Texas Rangers were informed and are investigating the death.
