Ransome Anderson
Ransome Anderson was 53 and from Covelo, in Mendocino County, California. He died in January 2021 while in the custody of the Mendocino County jail system. The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office said jail medical staff evaluated him for breathing problems and sent him to an area hospital. The sheriff's office said hospital staff found an advanced preexisting medical condition that was likely terminal, and that he remained hospitalized for treatment until he died.
