Randy William Nealis, 62, was found face-down outside his cell at Eastern Regional Jail in Martinsburg, West Virginia, on the evening of September 19, 2019. He was taken to Berkeley Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead about 45 minutes after he was found. At the time of publication, the cause of death had not been determined. West Virginia State Police said their initial investigation found no signs of foul play or self-harm. His body was sent to the medical examiner.
