Randy Bacon, 60, died on August 5, 2026, after a medical emergency at the Bradley County Jail in Tennessee, where he was being held. The Bradley County Sheriff's Office said the emergency happened during breakfast, and that correctional officers gave aid until emergency medical personnel arrived and he was taken to a local hospital, where he died. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death and has not said how he died.
