Randall Lee Smith, 54, died on Saturday night, May 10, 2008, while held at a jail in Virginia. Earlier that week he had been hospitalized with multiple injuries, and after he was discharged from the hospital he was taken to the jail. Virginia State Police later released an autopsy report that ruled his death accidental.
