Rajdeep Singh Bains
Rajdeep Singh Bains, 41, was held at the Harris County Jail in Texas, where he had been booked in December 2022. According to the county's custodial death report, submitted to the Texas Attorney General, he was taken to a local hospital on January 4, 2023 with altered mental status and was intubated five days later. A neurological test on January 11 found no brain activity, and a doctor pronounced him dead at 3:18 p.m. that day. The county's report did not give a cause or manner of death.
