Quilton Patrick Thomas
Quilton Patrick Thomas, 34, was held at the Burke County Detention Center in Georgia, where he was placed in a medical holding cell while wearing a cast and sling for treatment. On August 23, 2017, a correctional officer found him hanging in the cell, and he was taken to Augusta University Medical Center, where he died the following day, August 24. The Burke County Sheriff's Office said the cause was hanging, and the manner of death is listed as pending. His body was sent for autopsy.
