Quantae A. Jackson, 32, of Fort Wayne, was found dead in his cell at the Huntington County Jail on the morning of October 28, 2026, during routine rounds. The Huntington County Coroner's Office said an autopsy found asphyxia due to hanging and ruled the death a suicide. Indiana State Police and the coroner's office say their investigation is ongoing. The coroner's office extended its sympathies to his family and friends.
