Prince Porter
Prince Porter, 38, died on January 30, 2025, at Hancock State Prison in Hancock County, Georgia, where he was held. The Georgia Department of Corrections said he died of injuries from a fight with another person held there, which it said appeared to be gang-related, and sent his body to the GBI crime lab in Atlanta to determine the cause of death. A third person involved in the fight was taken to a local hospital for treatment. In a later report, the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office said he was stabbed in the back during a fight involving other people held at the prison, and that a man was found guilty of murder in his death. Some early reports gave the name William Holeman for the same death, and the reporting does not agree on the name.

Prosecutors in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit say another incarcerated man was found guilty of murdering Prince Porter, who was stabbed in the back during a fight at Hancock State Prison, and the Georgia Department of Corrections described the altercation as gang-related.
