Pippa Hall-Jackson
Pippa Hall-Jackson was 19. Weeks before he died, he wrote letters home saying he feared for his life, and a week before, he told his aunt, Natasha Weatherspoon, that he did not think he would leave Hays State Prison. He died on February 5, 2013, after being transferred by bus to the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, Georgia, where unnamed sources at Hays said that after his restraints were removed in the transfer yard, another prisoner who had ridden with him killed him. Corrections officials did not release how he was killed, his mother, Yolanda Jackson, said he was stabbed in the heart, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating his death. In a letter to his aunt, he asked the family to keep in touch, writing that "we never know what tomorrow has in store."
