Phillip Randall Ledford
Phillip Randall Ledford, 55, of Pelham, died on March 7, 2025, while held in the medical unit of the Shelby County Jail in Alabama, where he had been since his February arrest. The Shelby County Sheriff's Office said he suffered a medical emergency and was pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts. The sheriff's office said the cause of death is pending, and an autopsy and outside review were requested.
